Going Solo: Foster's Selfishness Questioned
There's no doubt about it, Solomon Foster is the most selfish player to ever grace the futsal court. Recent analysis reveals foster passed the ball only 5 times last season; only 3 of which can be confirmed as intentional. Futsal analyst Peter Thompson has been watching Foster for some time. He says he's never seen anything like it. "It's unbelievable, Foster takes on the shot, rather than passing to a teammate, 99 times out of 100. Even shots with the highest possible degree of difficulty, such as those from corners, are preferable to Foster than simply squaring the ball." The question remains; is it justified? The stats appear to speak for themselves; Foster was Team WoW's most prolific striker last year, managing over 30 goals from just 13 games. His first 4 starts saw him net 4.5 times on average. He also holds the all time record for most goals scored in a game at 7. Thompson, however, urges us to keep this in perspective. "You must remember, whilst he scored double the amount of goals than anyone else last season, he also took around 8 times as many shots." He also added "My Andy wouldn't lie," for no apparent reason. Once I can figure out how to set up a poll, we'll be asking you, the wide readership of teamwowfutsal.blogspot.com, what you think. Is Foster's shameless arrogance behind the ball justified?
