Does Bryan Have What it Takes to Return to Professional Futsal?

They're back - top: Thierry Henry, middle: Paul Scholes, bottom: Yossi Benayoun (who looks like Bryan)
We've seen a lot of returns recently; Thierry Henry back at Arsenal, Paul Scholes at Manchester United, but none have got people talking as much as Jonathon Bryan's return to Team WoW. After over a year away from the game fans are asking the question, does Bryan still have what it takes?

The 20 year old former star striker controversially quit the club at the end of 2010. He has done little to improve his relationship with the fans since then, launching a series of scathing remarks about his replacement, the harmless Alex Kidd. Upon his return to the country, Team WoW have confirmed he will also return to the squad.

His misdemeanors aside, the hypothetical masses are suggesting Bryan simply lacks the technical ability to compete in today's game. "Sure, he may have been top scorer in 2010," futsal analyst Peter Thompson commented yesterday in his weekly column, "But that was 2010. The game has changed dramatically since then, I think Bryan will struggle in the current climate."

Bryan has insisted that he is still on top of his game. "[Dont (sic) believe wat (sic) u (sic) read,]" he tweeted yesterday in response to Thompson's article. "[I still got it]." Bryan claims he has been training weekly and is in the best physical form of his life, though keen facebookers observe he seems to be spending most of his time with "this weird Persian chick."

Only time will tell whether Bryan is up to the task. The 2012 season kicks off on the 29th of this month. Bryan returns in late February.
