Despite missing key players such as Phil Gale, Rob Schaap, Wil Darling and Sol Foster for the first game of the season, Jordan Scott says the return he's most looking forward to is that of Jonathon Bryan. Scott said Bryan's absence had been 'obvious' in their recent run of poor form; running from the end of last year's season to the start of this one's. "It's been obvious that we're lacking Bryan," the interim manager said in a press conference yesterday. "We need a bit of passion, a bit of fire. With Bryan you're always sure of one thing, he will give you a hundred and twenty per cent."
Scott bemoaned recent Team WoW performances, which he labelled 'lackluster' and 'passionless'. "At times we've just not shown up for the game. The other side is full of fire and we've barely gathered the kindling." Bryan, Scott insists, is the solution. "He can just lift the team. He may not have the technical ability of Darling or Schaap, but his sheer desire to win and play good futsal can really spur the boys on at times."
Bryan is set to make his return to futsal in time for the game against Teim 031 on the 26th of February. Team WoW will be back in action this Sunday against bottom placed Back Handed Panthers.
